Patrick and Sandy Gallagher have between them over 65 years experience in the funeral profession and have lived and worked in Mid Sussex since 1978. They established their own company at its present location in Triangle Road in 1992.

Patrick was awarded his Diploma in Funeral Directing by The National Association of Funeral Directors in 1971 and in 1975 he became a fully qualified Embalmer and member of The British Institute of Embalmers. He is currently immediate past Chairman of The Independent Funeral Directors College, and also an accredited tutor and Past President of The British Institute of Funeral Directors (BIFD). Sandy Gallagher is a trained bereavement counsellor and is able to offer advice and information if required.

General Manager Paul Masson resides in Burgess Hill and joined the team in March 2003. He has over 10 years of varied experience within the profession. Paul was awarded his Diploma in Funeral Directing in 1998 and is currently immediate past Chairman of the local region of the BIFD).

Marijke Taylor joined Pat and Sandy in early 2000. Marijke has lived locally all of her life and was awarded the Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2002. She is also a member of the BIFD and is the former secretary for the region.

Patrick, Paul and Marijke are not only qualified, but they are also professionally licensed by the BIFD and are committed to continuing their professional development by attending regular educational meetings and seminars.

Our premises situated in Haywards Heath town centre are spacious and comfortably furnished and yet afford an informal environment in which to discuss and finalise any funeral or memorial arrangements. Should anyone prefer these discussions to take place in the privacy of their own homes, we are only too pleased to accommodate their wishes.

We are members of The Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors operating within their strict code of practice and endeavour under all circumstances to provide full and correct information about all of the services that are available to you. Our aim is to listen to and treat you with respect and courtesy in an effort to meet your personal needs and to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the quality of service that we are able to provide. Our intention is to offer a comprehensive service at costs tailored to our clients' requirements, with office facilities and personal visits available seven days a week until late evening and beyond if required.
